The next coat style on the list is the trench. This longer version of the pea coat is very similar in style, but generally has a more limited color palette and is most often made of wool or nylon.

The body restrictions are also very similar to the pea coat. Pears need to be even more careful with the trench, as the mid-thigh length accentuates wide thighs even more.

One additional factor to consider is your height. Shorter individuals need to ensure that the coat hits in the right location. The length should be around mid-thigh. Be careful the coat does not hit at or below the knee instead.
